Music Ministry
Six choral groups lifting their voices in praise, from the Senior Choir to the Children’s Choir.
Whether you are a seasoned singer or simply have a heart for worship, our choir family welcomes you. Together we lift our voices to create a powerful atmosphere of worship that touches hearts and transforms lives.
History
Music has been part of Effort since the beginning. The choir was formally organised by Deacon James E. Clarke, its first director. It rose to prominence in the Liberia Baptist Missionary and Educational Convention (LBMEC) in the late 1970s, winning many awards, holding county concerts, especially in Grand Bassa County, and performing at high schools across the area.
Through concerts and the much-loved Christmas Home-to-Home Serenading, the choir has won souls and grown the church.
