The Effort Baptist Church Health Team organized a one-day Free Eye Outreach, aimed at providing eye care services to neighboring communities. The outreach took place at the Effort Baptist Church School and focused on improving eye health in three key communities: Town Hall Community, Joe Bar Community, and Vokar Mission Community.

Over 100 patients were screened for various eye conditions, including vision impairment, cataracts, and infections. Patients diagnosed with treatable conditions received medication and other forms of care on-site. A number of patients, whose conditions required specialized treatment, were referred to the John F. Kennedy (JFK) Medical Center for further management.

The Health Team expresses its gratitude to all its members who participated, the JFK Eye Center, and the Effort Baptist Church for their support in making this outreach possible.
Thanks
